Quality By Vision is pleased to announce the next generation of optical seam inspection - the new SEAMetal HD2 unit! We've made several changes to our industry-leading SEAMetal HD unit, redesigning the optics and introducing several new components and technologies that have only recently become available. The new unit takes full advantage of SEAMetal version 5 software and delivers an even better image of the double seam, even if the can isn't positioned correctly or the cut quality isn't as good as it should be. The new HD2 unit, unveiled in January 2011 is already in use at a handful of food and beverage plants and like it's predecessor, it promises to continue to set the standard for double seam inspection.
